Poppy Seed Almond Tea Bread
Contains eggs and tree nuts. This is a recipe I make for my family at home.  As always, all the food Free Indeed Food serves serves at fairs and festivals does not contain any gluten or any of the top 8 allergens.
  1. Heat over to 350°. Grease 6 mini loaf pans.
  2. Whisk flour, xanthan gum, baking powder and salt together.
  3. In a mixer, cream sugar, eggs, and Earth Balance until light and fluffy. Mix in poppy seeds and almond extract.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until thoroughly combined.
  5. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes.
  6. To make the glaze, combine sugar and orange juice then microwave until sugar dissolves (30 seconds). Stir in almond extract, butter flavor and vanilla. Put glaze on bread with a baster.
